Tasks: This position is located in inedible rendering. The Team member is responsible for operating the rendering cooker which includes various tasks such as setting up and monitoring augers, starting up and monitoring presses and chokes, steam lines, WHR system, bone bins, pre- breakers, operate cooker, operate Zero Flash Valve, and also cleaning roto screen. Other tasks include maintaining, and operating cooker which includes monitoring flow of product, heat, monitoring product exiting cooker, and monitoring flow of chemicals to cooker products, monitor gearboxes, pre- and post-shift cleaning procedures. tasks are completed inside and outside during all times of the year.

Must be willing to occasionally manually lift up to 80 pounds with assistance, moderate to heavy pushing/pulling and reaching above shoulder level is required for various tasks. The team member must be willing stand and walk the entire duration of the shift. The temperature can reach from 80 to 120 degrees depending on the location in the cooking room. Must be willing to train and be authorized for Lock Out/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, use of chemicals, fall protection, and any other annual training as needed. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends. Must be able to communicate effectively with management. Must be able to read and understand manuals, execute and document work completed on

scheduling sheet.
