JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for providing over the end to end accounts payable and expense reimbursements process. Will drive the execution of payments after receiving management's approval. Performs research in order to establish and resolve AP exceptions. Responsible for maintaining and managing electronic commerce.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.

Major Accountability:

• Process accounts payable, reimbursements, employee/other expenses, and advances
• Execute payments after manager's approval.
• Maintain and manage electronic commerce.
• Research and resolve exceptions.
• Respond to complex AP inquiries and resolve inquiries.
• Capture and report relevant tax information.
• Understand the AP function's role, key policies, and standard operating procedures

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting/finance; in lieu of degree will consider 8 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Relevant software applications
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Customer service
• Basic verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced and multi-task environment .
• Typical office environment: Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required.
