RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client located in Arlington, TX seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk. The overal resposnbility of this role is to maintain assigned customer accounts according to the company guidelines and management expectations.The specific duties would include:

• Post daily payments into the accounting system received from an assigned group of customers
• Research discrepancies between customer payments and invoices and communicate directly with customer contact to resolve discrepancies
• Process credit card transactions, including securing authorization from the credit card company for each charge and settling (processing) each charge
• Communicate with assigned customer accounts, regarding account and payment status, as frequently as required to ensure account payment performance meets company guidelines
• Regular intra-departmental communication with customer service and frequent communication with accounts receivable management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Accomplished professional phone etiquette, including the ability to contend with upset customers
• Must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Diplomacy and ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Perform 10-key by touch
• Attention to detail, including above average data entry skills
