We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in our Washington, MO location.
The position will assist with daily administrative tasks, including verifying customer specifications, printing, scanning, filing, and other data entry/clerical duties.
Essential Functions:
  • Set up and maintain all project files and archives; responsible for tracking files and file retrieval as necessary, keeping files up to date and in good order, maintaining and safeguarding highly confidential data and information;
  • Document control such as scanning, sorting, and posting electronic documents into electronic folders within CSC's online filing system;
  • Compose and type emails and reports with working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, Google Suites, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets;
  • Input information into CSC systems for production scheduling;
  • Prepare paperwork and complete scheduling for production of customer orders;
  • Must be able to effectively interact with management and production employees in a fabrication facility for the exchange of information;
  • Assist with handling inter-departmental requests and inquiries for other departments;
  • Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate contact. Greet visitors and guests;
  • Perform general clerical duties as required and other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor;
  • Prioritize workload based on time constraints of various jobs;
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients, and supervisors;
  • Must be able to effectively interact with various levels of management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred;
  • Able to work in MS Word and Excel (intermediate level), Gmail or Google Suites (Docs and Sheets);
  • Ability to learn to effectively use CSC applications and databases;
  • Ability to seek out process improvement opportunities to increase production and accuracy in alignment with CSC's Lean principles;
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly numerical accuracy;
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers, supervisors, and prospective customers;
  • Must have the ability to perform multi-task functions;
  • Consistently demonstrate outstanding customer service and uphold CSC's values.
