Apprenticeship Program Sourcer/Talent Navigator

Zurich is looking for an Apprenticeship Program Sourcer/Talent Navigator to support our growing Apprenticeship Program. In this exciting opportunity and as part of the Human Resources team, you will leverage your recruiting, relationship management, and employer branding knowledge. You will partner with the Business and develop external relationships to develop a pipeline of talent for the Apprenticeship Program. Location: Schaumburg; hybrid

The Apprenticeship Program Talent Navigator will be responsible for:

  • Recommend, develop, and execute ideas and strategies related to sourcing and talent acquisition that will contribute to the long-range growth of the Apprenticeship Program, implementing any new processes, fine tuning standard processes, and staying informed of trends and innovative techniques through regularly liaising with Business and Talent Acquisition.

  • Coordinate virtual and onsite hiring events to meet current and future business needs

  • Work with HR and Business to identify key decision makers, needs and gaps to be filled by apprenticeship program

  • Design, update and lead year-round candidate informational webinars, tours, and creative introduction to the corporate environment programs

  • Develop external relationships with key targets including secondary and higher education institutions, nonprofits, associations, intermediaries, etc.

  • Use social media networks to look for and connect with potential candidates; creatively promote the company through targeted social media accounts; interact with candidates on niche platforms

  • Develop career narratives to promote and create interest in the program and ensure that all apprentice web-sites are up-to-date and aligned to strategy

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Recruiting area
* High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Recruiting area
* Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Recruiting area
* Experience within an staffing agency and/or corporate recruiting environment
* Experience with applicant tracking systems
* Experience with internet sourcing/advertising, direct sourcing, trade journal/newspaper advertising, employee referral campaigns, job fairs and outplacement firms

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proven track record in active sourcing, social media and employer brand promotion, creativity in finding innovative solutions to improve recruitment

* A good level of self-motivation: readiness to take ownership and work independently, a drive for getting things done

* Ability to work well under pressure and to respond quickly to new demands

* Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency and high level of accountability

* Strong strategic thinking and creativity

* Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in using Recruiting technologies
