Peaceful Valley Montessori Academy is looking for assistant teachers and classroom aides to join our growing team! We are currently hiring full-time, part-time, and substitute positions at the following locations:
- Eden Prairie, MN
- Golden Valley, MN
Position Summary:
Our Assistant Teachers support implementation of curriculum and strengthen our program by maintaining and enhancing a safe and nurturing classroom environment that supports each child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development.
- Offer Support: Help facilitate classroom activities.
- Get Creative: Assist in creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers using provided curriculum.
- Nurture: Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching.
- Have Fun: Sing, dance, marvel. Encourage and assist in positive social interactions.
- Care: Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching, caring for, or nannying young children
- Passion for teaching and positively shaping children's lives
- Ability to move quickly from one position to another to assist children as needed and in compliance with safety standards. Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
