Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with an excellent attention to detail.
  • High degree of responsiveness to internal and external requests with ability to discern importance.
  • Expert level verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with all stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.) on PC and Apple devices.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other remote conference meeting technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment, discretion, integrity, and ethics.
  • Proven commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting C-Level Executives.
  • Experience working in higher education.
Additional Information:
  • Working evenings or partial weekends may be required.
  • This is an in-person position with limited opportunity to work remotely.
Application screening will begin immediately and continue until the position is closed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in: communications, business, nonprofit management, philanthropy, or marketing.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in fund development, sales, high education, or other relevant experience.
  • Experience in direct response including digital and online fundraising campaigns.
  • Experience requesting, analyzing, and leveraging data to inform program goals and plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully balance, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in an active, fast-paced environment, while providing superior constituent service.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills, including diplomacy required to function effectively among campus fundraisers, high level campus administrators, volunteers and other constituencies to bring large scale projects to completion. Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong initiative, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Technologically skilled and familiarity using Raisers Edge/fundraising databases, and other software applications.
  • Occassional evening or weekend work required.
