SUMMARY

Bering Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Associate Logistician - Equipment/Property Book Specialist, for a contract in Aberdeen, MD.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will provide mission critical communications, infrastructure upgrade and improve property management processes across the program.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Required (Minimum) Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Property Book Officer or NCO.
• Minimum of two years' experience using GCSS-A in Property Book and /or Unit Supply Roles
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Maintenance Officer or Senior NCO (E8) or maintenance shop supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Two years using GCSS-A in Maintenance Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Commander's Representative roles.
• 5 years demonstrated experience in equipment life cycle planning.
• Demonstrated experience in equipment training and licensing.
• Seven years of experience in all aspects of property book management.
• Must have a valid Secret clearance.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Technicians may be required to walk/stand/sit for extended periods as needed. Travel to and from work sites is accomplished via company owned vehicle (van/truck). Work at customer locations includes the need to bring tools to and from the work vehicle to multifloored buildings

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Has supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
