Job Title: Associate Project Manager The Hershey Experience PMO

Job Location: Hershey, PA

Summary:

Responsible for managing, planning, and overseeing projects of varying size and complexity within The Hershey Experience organization with a heavy focus on Information Systems, partnering with various cross-functional groups to support business priorities. The position will report directly to the Associate Manager of the Project Management Office within The Hershey Experience.

Position will support projects in all functional areas of The Hershey Experience, but heavily focused on Direct to Consumer (D2C), ecommerce, IS applications and infrastructure, logistics, retail, licensing, etc.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Project management process expert - owns project execution, including project initiation, project type and tier identification and knowledge of applicable project processes;
  • Provide a critical role in ensuring the successful development and execution of projects within The Hershey Experience organization, to include functional areas of D2C, ecommerce, IS applications and infrastructure, and retail systems.
  • Partners with Project Champion to facilitate key decision making, remove roadblocks and outline risks to drive the projects forward (formalized gate process to be utilized when applicable)
  • Actively manages schedule, scope, resources, and budget
  • Identifies activities in project plan that are at risk and executes risk management developed in partnership with Project Champion
  • Supports development of project alternatives and scenarios

  • Ability to work well under pressure, be comfortable taking ownership of project deliverables, and possess the requisite skills to exceed customer expectations

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience

  • 1-3 years of related Project Management experience, preferably in CPG, product lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge in waterfall project delivery methodologies with solid knowledge in agile/hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • PMP-certified or working toward securing certification.
