Nordson MEDICAL designs, engineers and manufactures complex devices and components with applications in wound healing, surgical and minimally invasive, fluid management, pulmonology and interventional and structural heart. Our pioneering Advanced Polymers team was the first to manufacture and supply medical balloons to the medical device industry. Nordson MEDICAL works with doctors, start-ups and large medical companies around the world at any point in the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.

Job Summary

To utilize a wide range of equipment, fixtures, gages and hand tools to support the manufacturing of medical device products. To maintain all logs, forms and resulting paperwork.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the need to deliver quality product and demonstrate a commitment to quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
• Follow clean room protocols for hygiene and gowning.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Trained to all manual preform procedures.
• Trained to all machine preform procedures.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions well.
• Able to communicate instructions clearly to others.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• One (1)+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills and Abilities

• Role: Leads, with operational focus in an area of functional expertise.
• Responsibility: Assignments are received in task-oriented terms from direct Supervisor/Group Leader.
• Scope: Receives pre-determined work assignments with specific instructions.
• Complexity: Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
• Impact: Ensures that jobs are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules.
