Duties: The Department of Dermatology is seeking a bioinformatician to perform genomic data analysis and interpretation. Working with multiple researchers and laboratories, and in particular with the Capell Lab which is focused on epigenetics, the candidate will participate in experimental design on high throughput sequencing platforms, in addition to employing genomic and statistical tools for the analysis of sequencing datasets. The candidate will be involved in database development and manage large repositories of sequence data. The individual will perform basic analyses on different types of sequence datasets (i.e. particularly ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, and ATAC-seq) and also more complex analyses that integrate clinical and phenotypic data. The individual will also assist in writing manuscripts and grants, with a focus on technical and methodological aspects.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
