Team Description: Enterprise Technology Operations - Strategy, Practices, Risk & Controls (SPARC)
SPARC is responsible for the strategic initiatives to reduce risk and improve efficiencies throughout the operational organization. We drive innovation and institute positive change through process design, training, risk mitigation, operations & governance, training and financial expertise. As recognized business analysts and risk managers, we influence Firmwide technology excellence and drive operational risk governance and controls through multiple engineering organizations.
Must HAVE REQUIREMENTS
•Business Continuity Management (BCM) certification
•Great communication; could become a lead in this space
•Prior experience building recovery strategies with business teams, building software components and build workflow to recovery
•Minimum 4 years of experience in technology stack including infrastructure and application
•Bachelor's Degree (or graduate) preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
•System Administrator or Application support background (Strong Unix/Linux Environment experience)
•LEAD DR events and Power Down events
•Ability to perform analysis or troubleshooting when an issue arises and provide possible alternatives to help establish solutions and confirm remediation of the issue
•Ability to prioritize, multitask and make decisions
•Project Management experience in Infrastructure or Application projects preferred.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Lead Business Continuity Management (BCM) for Infrastructure and application teams by working with the business teams to actually build recovery strategies. The team typically hires individuals with Disaster Recovery, but specifically in terms of this role we need someone higher level... who can build the recovery strategies, workflow components and focus heavily on the business process concentration. functional hard over, working with business groups - but still has a strong understanding of Isolation testing and Powerdown events to

•For Disaster Recovery tests this person might help with from time to time - but someone else will be expected to understand the interdependencies of shared infrastructure and applications
•For power down events this person might help with from time to time - but someone else will be expected to establish critical milestones, establish order of recovery, verify dependency of various infrastructure components
•Address exemptions - you are expected to understand issues such as capacity problems and work with the appropriate parties to remediate
•Help develop infrastructure and application recovery procedures
•Identify opportunities for automation
•Oversee and Manage the execution plans
•Initiate inventory, infrastructure & Application ready for business checks
