Examples of Work
• Work as a team member with Economic Assistance and Safety program areas to enter into Service Provider Agreements with the individual and agency providers for the Child Care Subsidy Program.
• Duties include make on-site visits for approval/renewal, inspection and monitoring purposes, train providers in the billing process, conduct complaint investigations and cooperate with Child Care licensing and Protection and Safety on abuse/neglect investigations of licensed Child Care Providers and licensed exempt Childcare Providers.
• Conduct other duties as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Post high school coursework/training in social work, sociology, counseling, guidance, psychology, child development, or related field and experience in resource development, eligibility determination, or contract monitoring within a public service organization OR Bachelor's degree in one of the above.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to partner with a variety of people are required. Must have basic math, strong computer, keyboarding, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, understand, apply, and explain complex regulations and policies.
