Job Description

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a staff site engineer to join our growing Pennsylvania operations in our Mechanicsburg, PA office. You will be responsible for completing technical activities on assigned civil land development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform design tasks, such as conceptual site layouts, grading, and drainage for civil engineering projects
  • Work within AutoCAD/Civil 3D 2018
  • Assist office team with successful completion of projects within established budgets and deadlines
Qualifications:
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 1-5 years of site engineering experience
  • EIT is required (or within 6 months of employment)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D is required
  • Knowledge of HydroCAD is a plus
  • Experience with permit applications to local boards and state agencies is a plus
  • Experience with field work and site observation services is a plus

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Read, write, and understand plans and direction given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
  • Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, safety glasses/goggles, and/or masks while working
