Summary:
This person will act as project coordinator for an ongoing research project. The candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking databases, entering data, verifying the accuracy of entered data, and assisting with the compilation and descriptive analysis of entered data. They should have a background with Redcap and have ability to organize and analyze data using statistic software packages (SPSS etc.). They will assist with the facilitation of scheduling, screening, consenting, and conducting exercise interventions with research participants under the direction of the Project Investigator(s). The candidate will be responsible for continuous maintenance of study-related standard operating procedures, equipment, budgeting and helping to ensure compliance with study and institutional procedures, including human subjects intuitional review board (IRB) materials. The candidate will also be able to independently facilitate and conduct study intake and study intervention visits for participants, including administering questionnaires, performing submaximal and maximal exercise testing. The candidate will attend meetings and trainings as necessary and provide general support to the Research Staff and Principal Investigators. They will also perform other related duties as assigned or requested by the study investigators.

Starting salary for this position is $48,603 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Associate's degree in a health or science related field; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of clinical research, acute care or related experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have experience performing clinical research, including participant screening, consenting, scheduling, and facilitation of study visits, they will also have a background in Exercise Science or related field and/or be certified by the American College of Sports Medicine or similar, e xperience and working knowledge of statistical programs as well as with data entry and management, and e xcellent written, communication and organizational skills.
