This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Cobb policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on first shift (days) in any department that may include, but not limited to: Laying, Brooding, or Farm Crew. Some positions require lifting and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. These positions work in hot, cold, dusty, or wet conditions. Some areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Applicants must be willing to wear required personal protective equipment, if required.
This facility operates 7 days a week, including holidays. Applicants must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if required. All job offers are based on the condition that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally within the United States.
The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
