What are we looking for?

Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Compensation Program Manager who is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. This role will lead common compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, pay program administration and other associated initiatives. This key role ensures that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and align with our overall business strategy.

This position can be remote within a mutually acceptable location. #LI-Remote

To be considered for this opportunity, you need:

Experience: 6 years of compensation program administration including program design, job architecture, Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and business consulting.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (Two years relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

We'd also love it if you had:

  • Experience with Workday
  • Compensation Certification (CCP, GRP, CEBS, or Compensation Management Specialist)
  • Experience in project management and enterprise change management communications

In this role, you will:
  • Provide compensation evaluation and analysis (e.g., job analysis, evaluation and classification, survey participation, policy and program benchmarking).
  • Compensation plan management (e.g., changes to base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, deferred compensation, sales compensation, annual merit etc.)
  • Lead projects related to compensation policy, program development and administration. This role will recommend approach, provide detailed project plans and timeline, identifying issues, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partner function to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
