SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities and efforts of the Team Members in one slaughter and second processing facility in order to produce profitable quality products within a safe environment and in a timely manner that meets the needs of the customer.

Responsibilities include coordinating production units to achieve company-wide and individual complex goals with a minimum amount of waste or rework establishing complex objectives identifying the requirements to meet production needs and providing leadership direction in establishing a safe environment and a Good Neighbor policy with the community.

Other responsibilities include providing direction and assisting in the development of managers that can be promoted to higher levels of responsibility; ensuring company personnel and benefit policies are implemented properly; evaluating various capital projects submitted by management to determine their feasibility.

Additional duties include approving all new hires and overseeing personnel salaries and wages and other responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 10 plus years preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
• Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.
• Travel: 12 plus trips per year.
