What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors

With your knowledge as a Construction Manager/Engineer, you will help grow this discipline and your career. You will contribute to the Northeast Ohio construction projects and construction services tasks. You will lead a group of 10-15 staff to successfully complete important infrastructure projects for our community clients. The Construction Manager/Engineer will interface with our Design PMs, Community Representatives, Clients, and Contractors. You will be a part of a growing team and have an immediate impact on the growth and direction of the team for the future. Proven leadership and communication skills are required, along with a strong desire to serve our clients first, by living our mission of Advancing Communities .

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision for the future growth of the team.
  • Opportunity to be a part of a growing team,
  • Coordinate internally with the OHM team and externally with the client and contractor.
  • Train and mentor staff for personal and professional growth.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications on construction projects.
  • Determine if encountered field conditions require a change to the construction contract.
  • Demonstrate strong project organization skills.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or other related fields
  • Licensed Engineer preferred
  • 10-20 Years of experience in Construction Management/Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience with local agency programs and ODOT inspection experience.
  • Strong Financial Management Skills - Planning, management, and/or awareness of project budgets, schedules, utilization, billing, and A/R
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Computer literacy Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
