For this purpose, we have created a role of collaboration experts, who will act as the strategic supply chain link directly with customers and oversee the efforts to deliver a new level of performance between organizations.

This position will be the central owner of strategic supply chain collaboration with assigned customers, developing a shared vision for supply chain excellence, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to deliver the 2-5 year roadmap. Key deliverables will be focused on driving profitable growth, joint value creation, improving customer experience, enhancing supply visibility, and managing cost-to-serve

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Builds an ongoing collaborative relationship with senior-level supply chain leadership teams of selected customers
  • Develops a shared future-state supply chain vision (i.e. Polar Star); with roadmap of key deliverables and KPIs to deliver these results
  • Identifies and commits to top priority initiatives over a 1-5 year horizon, based on organizational and supply chain trends.
  • Develops a set collaboration rhythm for customer and supply chain teams to review KPI results, progress toward shared vision, etc.
  • Establishes governance and communication platform for Michelin and main partners to exchange Supply Chain initiatives, Supply Chain trends, major projects, and KPIs
  • Develops a deep understanding of Customer's operating model, to gather insights on opportunities to enhance customer experience along the order-to-cash value chain; partner with service managers to drive internal change and customers to drive process changes.
  • Partners with customer and logistics strategy team to drive optimization of the network design of the shared Supply Chain, delivering cost to serve optimizations for both companies.
  • Partners with commercial team to develop and provide alignment.

    Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications
    • Supply chain experience in areas of planning, customer service, and logistics - 4 to 7 years preferred
    • Broad Customer facing / Account management experience working at c-level - 5 to 8 years preferred
    • Customer & service attitude, taking ownership to resolve customer issues
    • Deep understanding of customer operational models
    • Strong business acumen and project management skills
    • Excellent communication skills and salesmanship
    • Self-motivated, resilient, influential, and results oriented
    • Strong communication skills - ability to transform complex supply chain and business issues into simple and concise business language when speaking to internal and customer leadership teams
    • Demonstrated history of decision making with financial impacts and ownership of the result
    • Technical proficiency desired in Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, MicroStrategy, PowerBI
    • Traveling -25-50% time spent at domestic Customers' locations understanding operations and building relationships
