ECS is seeking a Data Management Scientist - Lead to work in our MacDill AFB, FL office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will have senior subject matter expertise in data science within Military, Federal, or Intelligence organizations with demonstratable history of designing, developing, and maintaining data architectures and data visualization tools. Must have the ability to gather, analyze, model, and interpret large sets of structured and unstructured data to discover solutions to improve data exploitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports all operational data requirements for HQ USCENTCOM Operations Directorate.
  • Provides oversight and monitors performance of Data Management contractor team.
  • Candidate must be able to interact professionally and successfully with Government operational representatives.
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical information to a broad, operational audience.
Required Skills:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility; be able to securely handle/safeguard classified information
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in Data Management/Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
  • More than 10 Years relevant work experience
  • Experience capturing, implementing, and managing data science requirements for senior Military, Federal Government, and/or Intelligence staff
  • Experience with data normalization, mining/aggregation, and visualization
  • Experience with operational dashboard design, development, and use
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Model Builder
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing/briefing skills
  • Must be available for travel to both domestic and international locations (CENTCOM AOR); no combat zone travel is authorized on this contract
  • Ability to be integrated into a dynamic, high visibility, fast-paced work environment and
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in support of tactical, operational, and strategic data science requirements
Desired Skills:
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in Data Management/Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Minimum five years' experience using Python to automate GIS and non-GIS tasks
  • Experience with / knowledge of databases (TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostGres, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
