This posting is for the Diesel Maintenance Mechanic position. It is scheduled for 1st Shift. The base pay is commensurate with experience, ranging from $25 to $27 per hour.

Functions

• To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned

Description

To make repairs and or PM (preventative maintenance) on Live Haul, Feed Haul and Service Vehicles.

Tasks

Perform PM (Preventative Maintenance) on Tires, Brakes, & Electrical Inspection. Must be willing to work in high humidity, slippery floors, must be willing to work in hot/cold temps. Must be willing to perform heavy lifting up to 70 pounds periodically throughout the day. Must be willing to climb stairs. Must have a Class A Driver's License. Must have no violations that would prevent being cleared to drive a Tyson vehicle. This position requires bending, stooping, reaching, lifting) this position includes keeping vehicle safe and in good working condition. Must be willing to perform any job as assigned by Management.

Team member must have his/her own tools. Must have A Class A Driver's License. Must have no violations that would prevent being cleared to drive a Tyson vehicle.
