Under direction from the Assistant Vice President, the Director will drive the growth of the Wellstar Center of Health Equity's (the Center) and Community Health Department strategic alliances by leading partnership activities with new and existing partners including (but not limited to) to public health agencies, community groups, health-related organizations and the philanthropic community. In addition, the Director will lead team of public health professionals and community health nurses in their management and delivery of community health programs and interventions across all of Wellstar's submarkets. This will include operationalizing the Center and Community Health goals, oversees broad strategic multi-year planning and program activities while partnering with the Center's evaluation team to develop metrics tracking impact and progress on collaborative programming and partnership success. The responsibilities will also include supervisor of staff and managing budgets to achieve results.

Required Minimum Education: Master's degree required in public health, health education, nursing, social work, health care administration or related fields.

Required Minimum Experience: 5-10 years of management experience in healthcare or business-related field.

Required Minimum Skills: Ability to manage relationships with a wide variety of executives, WellStar Health System volunteers, staff and others; strong relationship skills are necessary, including collaboration, diplomacy and discretion. Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent time and project management skills. Ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to critically think and problem solve.

Excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage and supervise staff.
