SkinCeuticals is hiring a Director of Global Marketing on the SkinCeuticals DMI.

The Director of Global Marketing will play a key role in SkinCeuticals explosive global growth as the #1 medical aesthetic skincare brand worldwide. We are looking for a strategic, creative, and action-oriented candidate with a passion for science and storytelling to lead key category innovation, product launches, and global animations. Experience working with international markets, specifically China, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage New Product Development and Global Go-To-Market Activations:

  • Responsible for end-to-end project launch (insights, concept, formula direction/approval, packaging design, artwork, claims, launch strategy) and partnership with zone and market teams to ensure a comprehensive and on-time 360˚ launch
  • Oversee concept development: incorporation of scientific, professional, and consumer insights to create meaningful and innovative product positioning, in alignment with business needs and brand equity
  • Partner with labs and operational teams to ensure product feasibility, cost of goods alignment, and appropriate development timelines
  • Using scientific, physician/ professional, and consumer trends, build 3-year category innovation plan that meets business needs and aligns with the brand DNA
  • Assist with conducting market / physician and consumer analyses to provide insights on brand challenges, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work with global consumer research to analyze global category research and support developing action plans for various product categories and communications.
Work with key partners across disciplines (internally and externally) to:
  • Brief and create integrated consumer launch plans including hero assets, POS displays, social assets, PDP copy, social activations, educational videos, and more.
  • Brief and create medical activation plans including medical conference activations, Ad Board presentations, and core visual aids and more
  • Present category and key projects to senior management, zones, and key markets
People Management:
  • Manage direct report(s) ensuring quality and timeliness of all projects.
  • Create and track development plans for each direct report to build the person, brand, and organization
  • Lead and motivate team to accomplish personal and business goals

Job Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of related business experience, with 3-5 years prior experience in global marketing and/or product development in consumer-packaged goods or beauty; professional skincare and/or luxury experience is preferred
  • 2+ years prior experience managing a team, and expertise in working collaboratively across functions
  • Experience working collaboratively with labs and partners on new product or renovations through their life cycle
  • Experience briefing and managing internal and external creative partners (including agencies) to bring creative concepts to life
  • Presentation skills: ability to influence internal and external stakeholders through persuasive presentations
  • Leadership skills: ability to demonstrate leadership within brand team and cross-functional partners
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills (written and oral), and strong proficiency with PowerPoint
