Salary 150-175k plus up to 30% Bonus (200k plus package)

•Manages Network Security team of 6 engineers/admins directly
•Manages User Security Manager- team of 15 resources

•Pay: 150-170k base max, 30% bonus potential, 3 weeks vacation

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the protection of company information, computing environments and networks. It provides strategic and tactical leadership of the security administration group. The individual is responsible for the design, implementation, management, control and oversight of all aspects of logical security for systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

A teammate in this position must have the ability to:

•Lead and develop the security team by organizing, prioritizing and delegating work assignments, provide for training and development of staff, make appropriate personnel-related recommendations.

•Create solutions to meet business requirements by evaluating emerging technologies and making strategic technology recommendations.

•Lead the design and recommend requirements for the overall security infrastructure for Information Systems by raising awareness of security issues with business users.

•Manage the security budget during the annual budget cycle including recommendations, entering the budget with supporting detail.

•Manage the annual operating plan and expense management for information security.

•Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files, databases, cloud hosted solutions, and transmissions against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.

•Manage the day-to-day administration of individual user access and resolve any issues or questions.

•Define, monitor and enforce security procedures and best practices.

•Ensure compliance with security software and services licensing agreements.

•Develop, train, and lead a core group of IT resources to facilitate IS projects to consistently meet committed time-frames and objectives for remote connectivity efforts.

•Perform risk analysis for corporate functional and technical areas relevant to information security.

•Maintain ownership of the development, compliance, and exceptions to information security policies, standards, and procedures.

•Responsible for executing programs for security monitoring and compliance; maintaining information security devices and software; and resolving security policy issues.

•Lead the identification, response, investigation, and remediation of potential breaches of and issues surrounding information security.

•Implement a program and systems to anticipate, assess and actively managing new and emerging threats.

•Work across different departments to align security initiatives with broader business objectives and mitigate the risks various security threats pose to the organization's mission and goals.

•Manage an information security program, which includes procedures and policies designed to protect enterprise communications, systems and assets from both internal and external threats.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

A teammate in this position must possess:

•A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

•Ten years of broad-based experience in information security and related team projects.

•In-depth understanding of information security and related infrastructure.

•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•Excellent team leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•Able to command a sphere of influence to the point that management and teammates see them as both a subject matter expert but also someone able to eliminate indecisiveness within the department.
