ERP Enterprise Applications Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking an ERP Enterprise Applications Engineer in Boca Raton, FL.Essential Functions:

• An ERP Enterprise Applications Engineer will assist the Enterprise Applications, Lead, and acts on their behalf when necessary
• Working with the team, maintains, and is the system/application administrator for Hyland OnBase, Ellucian Banner, Broadcom Appworx and Broadcom Harvest applications
• Works closely with the Systems Administration team and Database Administrators to install updates and patches for Ellucian Banner and Hyland OnBase
• Troubleshoots application incidents and monitors applications to ensure they are healthy
• Monitors jobs and activities for the supported enterprise applications
• As an ERP Enterprise Applications Engineer, you will log into Linux servers, and occasionally Microsoft servers to perform installs and upgrades for the supported applications; In addition, logs in to troubleshoot issues with services, jobs and pulling logs for the supported applications
• Assesses business requirements, evaluating possible solutions with the application portfolio in place, and evaluates new applications providing recommendations
• Works on incidents, service requests, change requests and projects, communicating with university users when necessary, using the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform
• Works directly with vendors Ellucian, Broadcom and Hyland to support and troubleshoot issues with the enterprise applications
• Works closely with the systems analysts that work with Ellucian, Broadcom and Hyland applications, ensuring the systems are operating correctly
• Uses proper change management methods to ensure all changes to applications do not disrupt the business or are of minimal impact
• Creates documentation, training, and standards the applications within the Enterprise Applications team portfolio

REQUIREMENTS:

• Comfortable with Linux server operating system environments
• Has the ability to learn new and unfamiliar technologies using public resources, documentation, and formal training
• Has some SQL query knowledge to assist with troubleshooting integrations when necessary
