Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$52,284.00-$83,655.00

Summary:

This position will provide Executive Management, Accounting, Customer Management, Operations and Consulting financial support. Primary responsibilities include managing the digital engagement unit's costs including budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and reporting. This position also requires the ability to identify business opportunities/risks and provide support to Accounting for problem resolution and invoice accuracy. The position also supports sales compensation including forecasting, accruals, and statement preparation. Additional responsibilities of this position include product allocation review, pricing, and profitability analyses, maintaining cost models as well as participation in business cases. The successful candidate will work with many organizations within the company in addition to all levels of management.

Position Details:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with business owners to update and prepare expense forecasts and budget, ensuring revenue and expense are aligned, and including expense allocation maintenance.
  • Provide financial business support, including financial modeling, reporting, analysis, and research. Identify business opportunities/risks through partnership with the business and assist with preparation of business cases to evaluate opportunities.
  • Maintain financial model for sales compensation. Understand each sales plan. Create quarterly accruals, forecasts, and budgets for sales compensation. Prepare quarterly and annual sales compensation statements for each sales staff.
  • Develop and create reporting packages that provide meaningful insight.
  • Requires a collaborative and team-oriented attitude working with Finance, Accounting, and Operations with demonstrated ability to work with various systems to compile data with high levels of accuracy.
  • Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior to include building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSG's core competencies and values.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting required
  • Strong PC skills are a must including spreadsheet and database packages with Oracle Financials, business intelligence tools, and industry standard budget and forecast applications.
  • Ability to identify areas for process and operational improvements. Recommend solutions resulting in overall improvement to such processes (e.g., more formalized process, more streamlined flow, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous financial reporting and analysis preferred
  • At least 1-2 years direct budgeting/forecasting software system experience preferred

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in business with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred
