Job Description

The Full Stack Web Developer remotely works with the web development team to build and support Eurofins Environment Testing's web products. The position is responsible for developing new web applications using Angular for front end development, C# .net core for the API layer, and SQL Server for the backend database. This position also requires the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements of existing applications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Web user interface/ user experience design and implementation
• Troubleshoots issues and make code changes to improve user experience
• Help design, develop, and implement new features and applications
• Built REST APIs in C# .net core
• Work with large/complex SQL procedures and queries
• Work with other members of an Agile team
• Use GitHub for source control
• CI/CD using Jenkins or other continuous integration tools
• Writes unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews with developers and follow department coding standards
• Coordinates with product owner(s) in backlog grooming activities
• Conducts product demos with stakeholders
• Coordinates release notes with documentation management team
• Other duties as assigned

Hours will be M-F, 8-5pm, with some additional hours required as workload demands.

This will be a fully remote position.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of experience in web development with Angular and JavaScript
• 2 years of experience using C#.net
• 1 year of experience using SQL Server
• Strong skills in development using Entity Framework and SQL on complex data structures are required
• Strong skills in Angular and JavaScript
• Experience building REST APIs and micro services
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 4-5 years ofexperience in technologies listed
• Expert knowledge in all aspects of Windows development
• Laboratory/Science background strongly desired
• Understanding of Web/Jobs and how they are used for cloud SQL Server tables
• Experience with web development using Blazor
• Crystal reports experience
• Experience with Azure Storage: Queues, Blob Storage and Tables, including when to use cache and service bus (topics, queues, etc.)
• Knowledge of how to properly secure Azure components, and experience using and setting up Azure Web Apps
• Windows development interacting with peripherals, e.g. meters, scales, chromatography equipment, etc.
• Experience working in a regulated environment following a standardized and documented software life cycle
• Debugging and Tracing in Azure and Visual Studio
• Experience using Telerik Kendo UI components
• Experience using front end testing frameworks like Cypress or Jest
• Development using Entity Framework and SQL on complex data structures
• Strong interpersonal skills, verbal/written communication skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter
• Quick learner
• Excellent team player
• Able to work with all levels of personnel including developers, testers, support personnel, project managers, senior management, and non-technical system owners and users.
