POSITION SUMMARY

Provide Human Resources support for the day-to-day operations of the department with a strong focus on supporting the implementation and administration of HR policies, programs, procedures and systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Administer and execute human resource programs including global mobility, visa management, women's program, benefits, recruiting, and organizational development and department communications.
  • Maintain the Company's global mobility programs including visa requirements, overseeing transfers and relocations, creating agreements, managing mobility benefits programs, and maintaining documentation and tracking.
  • Support the HR team with global mobility initiatives. Responsible for completing data for immigration attorney and follow up with employees and managers for data and documentation.
  • Provide support for and maintain the programs for MEPPI's Women's Initiative.
  • Administer the company's wellness initiatives by creating wellness content, developing communications, and maintaining a regular schedule of events and programs.
  • Recruit, interview, select and facilitate the hiring or promotion of qualified job applicants for open positions in the applicant tracking system with an emphasis on hourly wage programs, non-exempt positions and internships.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resources communications and program information on the Company's intranet site and company website.
  • Provide project management support for acquisitions and integration.
  • Provide organizational development and administrative support for division re-organizations, internal promotions, and job changes.
  • Provide benefits administration for new hires and expatriates.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and ongoing operation of benefits programs.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, supervisors, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Collaborate with all HR department functions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Partner with HR team to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations to management and employees.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Human Resources Department by conducting business with outside contacts, suppliers and other MEPPI departments in a timely and cooperative manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources or related field and minimum of 3 years equivalent experience in one or more of following: recruiting, benefits, communications, training.
  • Ability to work independently and on several projects simultaneously.
  • Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products and Human Resources information systems.
