INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER- OHIO

The Select Group is looking for an Information Security Engineer to join a not-for-profit system of hospitals and healthcare providers. This person will be hands on in coordinating with security engineers and analysts and collaborating with business partners and other architects to make sure that O365 platform is being stood up correctly. INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of Palo Alto firewall experience

Any certifications (ACE or PCNSE) recommended.

Security Architecture or Senior level Security Engineering experience in an enterprise level environment

We're looking for a person that can be hands on in regards to the engineering while still being a little higher level. We're not looking for Risk and Compliance folks - we're looking for proven Engineers or Sr. Engineers that will be doing the hands on keyboard work.

O365 security experience

Permanent work from home but must currently live in Ohio

Technical Environment:

• BlueCoat Web Proxies
• Splunk SIEM
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Symantec DLP & Endpoint Protection
• Symantec CloudSoc CasB
• Azure & AWS Hybrid Cloud

Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Experience with HIPAA and PCI Compliance

INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Security Engineer is responsible for the establishment of and assessment against Information Security engineering and architecture policies, standards and guidelines to ensure that systems are designed and built in a manner that minimizes security risk while ensuring business needs are met.
• The Security Engineer must be familiar with the current threat environment, how these threats can exploit known vulnerabilities and be able to provide mitigation strategies in the design and development of systems to ensure security risk.
• We are looking for someone with great personality and experience leading meetings.
