The Integrated Assessment program at La Rabida Children's Hospital is contracted through DCFS and works remotely outside the hospital. Our mission is to amplify the voices of children and parents through clinically sound interviews and assessments to disrupt the cycle of trauma and advance the well being of the child welfare system. The Integrated Assessment program's pillars include social justice, reflective practice, democracy, and emotional intelligence.
Job Summary:
Fully remote position during Covid-19 restrictions/Hybrid position after Covid-19 restrictions
• Complete in-depth highly clinical assessments of parents, children and foster parents involved with the child welfare system
• Provide assessment in the areas of parenting, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, early childhood development and trauma
• Formulate a detailed, written assessment, including client interviews as well as historical records, that is provided to the court and serves as the basis of the family's ongoing service plan for reunification.

Job Requirements:
What we need from you:
• LCSW or LCPC in IL required-will consider LCSW within six months of hire or LCPC eligible at hire
• Minimum two years of post-graduate experience with the population of children and families served by the program.
• Child welfare experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all personnel involved in the program-children, parents, foster parents, relatives, DCFS staff, community agency staff, peers, government agencies required
• Reliable vehicle with automobile insurance required. Mileage reimbursement provided
