As an Integration Software Engineer, you will become a contributing member of an embedded software engineering team, focused on the development of customer visible features on a state-of-the-art display on CNHi next generation controllers. The software you assist in the development will control various functions of CNHI tractors, sprayers and harvesters and enable wide range of features.

  • Integrate CNHi SW via the V-Model into a high-quality SW product.
  • Produce test scripts in an automated and manual methodology to assist in the continual development progress.
  • Refine system requirements and assist with decomposition into lower-level development design and requirements.
  • Bridge from Unit test through systems verification to eliminate any gaps in the SW development process.
  • Maintain test equipment inventory and optimize utilization.
  • Utilize software tools and electronic instruments to troubleshoot and debug embedded systems
  • Reproduce defects on a lightweight environment for log gathering along with front end triage of defects.

This position pays:91,300-132,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) .


What Skills You Need

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in the development of embedded electronic systems from concept to release
  • Experience in Electrical and/or Software Engineering performing analysis, design, and testing for embedded software projects
  • Working knowledge with C or C++ and Java programming languages
  • Prior experience with Linux OS (Ubuntu)

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience Model Based Software Design, preferably Mathworks (Simulink/Stateflow/Real-Time Workshop)
  • Understanding of Automotive networking protocols such as CAN, J1939
  • Experience with embedded systems tools such as compilers, debuggers, simulators, etc.
  • Experience with software versioning, repository management, and package management tools
  • Experience with continuous integration development, using automated build and test practices
  • Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
  • Experience in Embedded Software Development for mobile equipment applications
  • Experience with Electro-Hydraulic or vehicle control systems for on/off-highway vehicle systems
  • Experience with automated testing (LABview, CAPL, etc)
  • Advanced mathematics in an interface environment (polygramatic algorithms)
