Job Description

Flexion Inc., a Madison, WI-based IT Consulting and Services firm, is looking for an iOS Developer to work on a consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI. However, this consultant will work remotely.

We are looking for an experienced and capable iOS Developer to help grow our client's existing application, written entirely in Swift. The iOS Developer will implement features, fix bugs, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot problems. Unit tests will accompany the changes you make to confirm their desired behavior. The Developer will submit code for review by their peers in the form of pull requests and regularly review code by their peers.

Skill Requirements:

-4 years of deep knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI

-Know your way around concurrency/multithreading code

-Experience with unit testing

-Experience and knowledge of REST APIs

-Strong drive to experiment, learn and improve your skills

-Respect for the craft - you write self-documenting code with modern techniques

-Great written communication skills - we do a lot of work asynchronously in Slack, Confluence, and Google Docs

-Empathy for our users - a willingness to spend time understanding their needs and difficulties is central to the team

-Desire to be part of a compact, fun, and hard-working team

-Bonus points: React Native mobile app experience on iOS and/or Android
