RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager in Boca Raton, FL.Duties Include:

• IT Project Manager will successfully manage small to enterprise-level projects and/or tasks for major projects concurrently.
• Apply sound project management experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction
• Communicate effectively across teams and employees at all levels as needed to keep the project aligned with the overall mission and goals
• Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
• As an IT Project Manager, you will adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
• Work with various stakeholders across corporate teams to help define business and system requirements
• Effectively coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a clear understanding, and adherence to, scope, schedule, and budget
• Develop detailed specifications for IT components of new projects or processes
• Convert final specifications to RFPs as applicable and manage the RFP process
• Effectively manage project participants, stakeholder needs, and any external contractor requirements, when necessary, on projects or processes, including managing quality control review of scope and leading alpha and beta testing plans
• Effectively document, monitor and manage existing processes with emphasis on identifying errors, minimizing downtime, and providing the best customer service to system clients
• Help identify and implement process improvement projects to improve existing systems
• Manage contracts, track expenditures, process purchase orders, and invoices, and maintain records for costs associated with assigned projects or processes
• Prepare reports or develop statistics to summarize tasks, projects, processes, etc. as needed for department review or wider company use

REQUIREMENTS:

• The IT Project Manager requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, along with a minimum of eight (8) years plus a minimum of IT industry-related experience or over twelve (12) years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework and/or related certifications in discipline areas or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• The Senior IT Project Manager requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university or over fourteen (14) years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework and/or related certifications in discipline areas or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
