We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Policy Analystto join our talented team. ** This position is contingent upon award/funding**

Position Description:

The Jr. Policy Analyst will be responsible for providing general program support, including: operations research, systems analysis, cost/benefit/risk analysis, technology and program assessment, and professional development programs.

The analyst will assist with policy and program reviews, assess gaps/limitations, make recommendations for improvement, draft technical documents, and offer opinions in matters pertaining to programs. The analyst should be knowledgeable in a wide range of scientific, technology, and CBRN-related disciplines.

In this role you will....

  • Assist in the analysis of policy, geopolitical environments, and alliances/partnerships/treaties to inform Strategic Effects on implications/impacts on Agency programs.
  • Conduct research and develop analytical methodology to apply to assessment and evaluation of programs.
  • Develop evaluation, planning, and analytical process and methods for measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of Agency programs.
  • Identify potential program issues, perform extensive inquiries into issues, determine data sources and develop follow-up questions.
  • Analyze strategic guidance and policy to apply to future analysis of Agency programs and assessments.
Experience Requirements:
  • 1 year related experience
  • Possess knowledge of CBRN as well as new and emerging concepts, advancements, and related/enabling technologies that have implications to United States and international Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) policies and programs.
Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent additional experience is preferred.
  • Previous work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Current DOD Top Secret /SCI (TS/SCI) Clearance is required
Other Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative
  • Ability to produce a high level work product requiring minimal supervision
