SUMMARY
The Licensed Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Their duties include installing or replacing wiring and other electrical components, troubleshooting electrical issues to handle repairs and communicating with clients to establish job details and related costs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Licensed Electrician as required by state and contract.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property. *For external postings, to advertise citizenship requirements, please ensure the contract documents indicate this requirement.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in buildings and structures.
Executes wiring plans and installs fixtures and equipment.
Has expertise in various electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations.
Diagnosing electrical issues by reading diagrams and blueprints
Testing and inspecting electrical work like wiring and lighting to ensure safe installation and compliance with regulatory codes
Planning and designing layouts of fixtures, wiring pathways and other electrical elements inside commercial and residential buildings
Identifying and mitigating safety hazards, code violations and other electrical issues. Ensures safety compliance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to climb ladders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The pay range for this role is $20 to $35, with the final offer salary contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
