Schedule: 3,2,2 Continuous Operating Schedule

Shift: 12 hour Shifts - Most likely nights 7pm-7:30am

Primary Purpose of Position:

Perform steel flat-sheet packaging lithography printing tasks and services to support the plant's overall manufacturing plans and objectives as directed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting and repairing KBA Metalstar steel flat-sheet printing press equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Perform and assist in preventative maintenance on KBA Metalstar steel flat-sheet printing press production equipment as required.
• Perform on-the-job training and development of assigned personnel.
• Conduct inspection of in-process materials and in-process and finished products.
• Responsible for replenishing supplies, materials, parts and tooling required for assigned area.
• Perform record keeping duties as required under the direction of management.
• Communicate pertinent information to next shift.
• May assist with the disassembly, overhaul and rebuilds of production equipment.
• May perform troubleshooting on production equipment as required.
• May be required to stage and maintain packaging materials and follow correct packaging/banding procedures.
• Work in a manufacturing environment.
• Comply with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for safe performance of the work assignment.
• Support and follow the guidelines of the food safety system.
• This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to, high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
• Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices.
