Responsibilities include driving cost management, delivery performance, and transition activities. Additional responsibilities include facilitation of site and process rationalization in areas of automation and ecommerce. This is a fulltime position with Spectrum Brands and is required to be onsite daily at our warehouse in Edwardsville, IL."title":"Primary Duties & Responsibilities","content":" Implementation of logistics strategies into local logistics models to support and optimize the processing and distribution of product, including inventory management as well as local operational execution of logistics to meet local customer service and quality requirements. Manage the warehouse team for local customization of globally agreed logistics operating standards and apply the necessary local modifications for the physical distribution of products as well as the administrative control and information flow. Manage 3rd Party Logistics (3PLs) that can be used by the business to deliver outsourced services for warehousing, transport and international logistics. Manage full site DC operations for receiving, Inventory management, Shipping with focus on customer delivery and quality. Oversee and manage the execution of export/import compliance requirements for inbound and outbound from the DC operations. Monitor inventory levels of critical materials to ensure no customer supply interruptions; utilize First In First Out (FIFO) and First Expired First Out (FEFO) practices as required. Monitor global applied KPIs as well as additional KPIs that measure and track regional/site logistics performance; set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that capture, measure and report on the service delivery and financial performance achieved by the distribution center site. Manage 3PL service provider engagement from the point of selection, evaluation, and contracting, implementing and ongoing management; must be aligned with the logistics functions, and key business stakeholders such as procurement, finance, HR and legal counsel. Organize planning and implementation of strategic processes, programs and improvements that involve new technology and/or multi-site or division coordination; examples include SAP ERP, RF and voice distribution center wearables, automation conveyors, ecommerce, visibility tools Ensure that all programs follow the standard procedures used in the management and deployment; implement global best practice solutions. Own site financial for (Value Added Services, VAS, Key Performance Indicators, KPI's, supplier management, freight costs, inventory cycle count as few examples.) Manage DC shipping physical and electronic quality per SPB customer delivery expectations."title":"Education and Experience Profile","content":" Bachelor's degree required, with a focus in Supply Chain preferred, Minimum of 10 years operational logistics experience in relevant industries. Minimum of 10 years 3PL services provider or freight forwarding industry experience. Strong experience with ERP system is required, including Transportation Management (TMS) and warehouse management systems (EMW & ECC). Specific experience with SAP is highly desired.
