Role Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes for manufacturing that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. This position requires working on-site as an essential function.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate design intent into shop work instructions
  • Create BOM's and routings in MRP system
  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
  • Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
  • Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
  • Communicating engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  • Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
  • Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
  • Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  • Utilize software systems such as CAD, CAD CAM, or others to model production flowline layout as well as prototype design solutions for manufacturing.
  • Work as a part of a team or individually
  • Received feedback and adjust as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or a technical degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential.
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture
