Basic Job Functions:
The Entry Level Metallurgist will learn the products and processes at Nucor Steel Indiana. They will integrate with the technical, production, and maintenance teams and work on continual improvement projects, conduct robust data analysis, and advance product development. The incumbent will review mill routing for orders and disposition coils based on customer requirements. The incumbent will develop an understanding of these requirements by rotating through the production and sales processes.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor, therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority at all times.
