Role overview

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, reporting into the Sr Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, will work closely with the Finance team and cross-functional stakeholders to provide exceptional financial and analytical support of our planning process, proactively drive insightful internal financial reporting, analysis, and dashboarding, and effectively communicate analytical insights. Additionally, this role is a key stakeholder in managing our financial planning models in our planning system and reporting tools.

We are looking for an exceptional professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team that is high-energy, self-motivated, organized, highly analytical with solid understanding of accounting and financial modeling, an outstanding communicator (oral, written, presentation), and has a bias toward action and continuous improvement. The ability to balance getting the details right while effectively prioritizing and operating in a fast-paced environment is imperative. A day in the life...

  • Provide exceptional financial and analytical support (planning, reporting / dashboarding, analytics, modeling, etc.)
  • Proactively identify, prioritize, and create analyses that drive meaningful insights, communicate findings clearly and concisely through narrative and metric driven presentations and effective data visualizations to key stakeholders, including business partners and executive leaders
  • Supports the organization, creation, and maintenance of financial budget and forecasting models, with focus on continuous expansion and improvement
  • Create efficient processes within our tools to streamline modeling, reporting and dashboarding
  • Manage and effectively organize required inputs and components from various Finance stakeholders for executive reporting and ensuring cohesive combination of presentation materials
  • Partner with Finance and cross-functional groups on special projects and financial close processes to ensure complete and accurate financials, forecasts, and thoughtful, analytical insights
  • Fosters and promotes a culture of excellence, operates with a continuous improvement mindset, data-driven insights, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork, while maintaining an environment that is collaborative and fun
What we are looking for...
  • BA/ BS degree, or equivalent degree, in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant, progressive experience working in corporate finance, accounting, business analysis and/or other related quantitative field
  • Superior problem solving, analytical and financial modeling skills, combined with ability to effectively communicate and present results with actionable, data-driven insights
  • Sense of urgency, self-starter, mindset for continuous improvement
  • Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Advanced Excel, presentation, reporting, and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills a must
  • GAAP knowledge preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite Planning or comparable financial planning tools preferred
