The Internal Agency MRI Technologist Reg assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department according to department procedures. Has the knowledge and ability to obtain quality diagnostic studies properly and safely. Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. Able to independently perform job functions. Sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and appropriately positions patients for procedures.

Must be willing to work at least one contract assignment during time frame of Oct- March. Preferred travel experience as well as Epic EMR experience. Get access to medical coverage and 403b. Access SpringHealth Wellness Services.

Required Minimum Education:
  • Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R.

Required Minimum Certification:
  • BLS certification

Required Minimum Experience:
  • One (1) year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients in the Radiology setting; prefer MRI clinical setting.

Required Minimum Skills:
  • Ability to read, write and speak English language, optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills;
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills required;
  • Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner;
  • Possess excellent time management skills;
  • Provide care using evidence and analytical skills along with possessing strong critical thinking skills.
