Job Description
MV Transportation is seeking an NDS (Non-Dedicated Service) Complience Managerto identify and report to the Operations Managers challenges, discrepancies, violations of policy and other concerns related to service delivery. Instruct operators when policy is not being followed and to assist in exploring new ideas and ways to handle in-service challenges. Reports on all activities and observances daily. Assists in delivery of system reporting requirements.
The NDS Complience Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with dispatchers to solve service-related challenges/take direction from BOC when dispatched to respond to a situation or operate a coach if needed
- Perform spot checks on operators and Road Supervisors
- Inspects vehicles for cleanliness and policy compliance - reporting ALL violations and discrepancies
- Issue and Receive required equipment to Road Supervisors on a daily basis
- Monitor Road Supervisor Logs and Reports for accuracy, completeness, performance
- Works with Detour Supervisors to ensure reporting is timely and accurate
- Schedules special assignments to Road Supervisors, as needed
- Assists Operations Managers (as a witness) when issuing discipline
- Conduct research on performance issues (to include service delays and reported route issues) and develop reports accordingly
- Coach operators on DriveCam events
- Monitor system performance- on the street, through Orbital
- Call in accident reports to claims line
- Clerical and administrative duties, as assigned
- Performs repairs to fare-boxes on site and on location as needed
- Respond to and accurately document emergency situations/incidents/injuries-reporting to claims line if necessary
- Required to attend to minor bio spills as needed
- Transport operators to and from medical center if needed
- Investigation and completion of Route Impediment Logs as assigned
- Report for duty for special service/events as assigned
- Provide excellent customer service to client, passengers and operators at all times
- Prepare other written documentation/reports as needed
- Monitor and complete regular reports to Operations Managers and other departments as needed
Talent Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Road Supervisor in a public fixed route transit system
- Knowledge of system routes and service area
- Familiarization with all vehicles operating in the service
- Ability to understand client policies and procedures
- Ability to comprehend MV Transportation and CBA policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read, write and speak English
Starting Pay Rate: $26/hour to $27.22/hour
