Job Summary:

THIS HYBRID ROLE- 2 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE, 3 DAYS PER WEEK REMOTE - WILL BE BASED OUT OF OUR OFFICE IN NORCROSS, GA.

Voice Engineer II supports the Enterprise Voice Network and provides technical support to users of telecom systems company wide. The ideal candidate must have good problem-solving skills; they will be responsible for information gathering and analysis to resolve VoIP issues within the organization. They must also have strong interpersonal skills and maintain good communication with end-users, team members and leaders. The candidate will be responsible for support of advanced contact center solutions and may provide development and guidance for less technical staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing hands-on support of IT Incidents and Service Requests
• Ability to manage and escalate vendor support tickets as needed for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Partner with the business in planning and executing technical tasks such as installations, issue resolution, etc.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, internal customers and business leaders
• Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives, including documentation
• Provides assistance and knowledge transfer to less skilled network engineers

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience

Experience

• 4-7 years' experience in technology infrastructure, including engineering support, architecture, design, implementation, and operations
• Strong hands-on experience working with Cisco Call Manager/Contact Center, including skills-based routing and omni channel
• Proven ability to perform troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose, and correct network problems

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Voice over IP (VOIP), SIP, ISDN and POTS telecommunications
• Experience working with Contact Center peripherals such as Salesforce, Bucher+Suter, Calabrio
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN environment
• Experience with Cisco router/switch configurations and troubleshooting
