POSITION SUMMARY

NRM, My Zoetis Rewards (MZR) Business Analyst provides insights to assess the performance of and drive continuous improvements to Zoetis' MZR B2B loyalty Program. This role is responsible for defining, validating, and analyzing performance metrics, building reports, and financial model development. The successful candidate will work closely with B2B business colleagues, CRM, sales force, finance, operations, legal and technical resources to identify needs

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain key reports to inform and guide MZR decision making, including:

  • Create, automate, and manage performance measurement tools & metrics for the MZR program
  • Uncover and prioritize high ROI investment and savings opportunities that are aligned with business objectives
  • Support the design, pre and post-hoc analysis and continuous improvement of the MZR program
  • Design, develop, and maintain KPIs/metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
  • Develop and maintain forecasting & financial models
  • Provide comprehensive responses to ad hoc managerial requests to obtain or explain data-related inquiries.
  • Management of customer enrollment from CRM to our internal pricing tools
  • Synthesize complex data sets into summary presentation format suitable for non-technical audiences
  • Work with the business analytics team and IT to develop detailed data mapping and end-to-end process flows, when needed and to implement best practices for data integrity, data quality, and exception handling processes
  • Work with CRM team to test, uncover and resolve any enrollment issues or data flows
  • Support MZR Marketing manager in the day-to-day tasks and support for our sales forces with any questions as it relates to their customers and the program, this can include training.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS.
  • Partner closely with broader NRM team and B2B Mktg teams
  • Collaborates with Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, Market Research, Logistics/Supply Chain, Field Force Effectiveness, Business Operations, Sales, and Customer Experience teams
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Strong analytical mind and in-depth understanding of key business drivers
  • Agility, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English required, other languages a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, mathematics/statistics, economics, engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in creating analytical frameworks with a focus on loyalty programs
  • Understanding of financial metrics, P&L construction, pricing, ROI and marketing/promotional evaluations using data
  • High proficiency with Excel and Tableau (or similar visualization tools)
  • Experience with SQL and understanding of database architecture
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Required
  • Understanding of loyalty program pricing models and value drivers
  • Experience with financial and forecasting models as well as different type of forecasting methods
  • Experience with strategic pricing and consumer loyalty behavior concepts
  • Significant financial acumen, including but not limited to understanding revenue and margin drivers for the business, customer lifetime value, and pricing strategy
  • Experience with technology and tools to simplify complex proposals and move from data collection to information management to decision making/ insights
  • Ability to absorb loyalty program strategies and translate these strategies into actions and decision making
  • Understanding for how to develop, socialize, implement and evolve processes for deal approvals/ stakeholder buy-in
  • Strategic problem-solving and ability to drive creative solutions in a complex environment
  • Ability to build close working relationships and drive data-driven recommendations and decisions with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales and finance)
  • Analytical background; able to understand and manage complex analytics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and pivot between multiple projects, pilots and tests
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau
  • Experience with SQL (or similar programming language)
Desirable

• Knowledge of animal health and /or agri-marketing

• Experience in analysis packages (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab), or programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, Ruby)

• Experience with cloud-based data environments such as Azure/Databricks

• Knowledge in at least one of the following fields: machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, or data mining
