The Employee Health COVID Hotline is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our team. Nurses in this position are responsible for managing incoming COVID-19 related employee calls and coordinating laboratory testing. Ideal applicants will possess strong clinical foundation, knowledge of and appropriate application of the nursing process in order to prioritize information. Individuals should apply if they are passionate about maintaining optimal health of our workforce so we can continue to provide exemplary care to our patients. DDu Staff are expected to work evenings, weekends and holiday hours as needed in this position. This position is located at the Duke Employee Health Clinic located at Duke South in Durham, NC.

  • Electronic Health Record experience (EPIC experience preferred)
  • Typing proficiency of 30-50 words per minute
Minimum Qualifications

Education

Work requires completion of an accredited Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, Associates degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program with coursework in occupational and/or environmental safety. State of North Carolina licensure is also required.

Experience

Work requires six months of nursing experience. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
