Job Description Summary
Repairs and maintains packaging machinery and mechanical equipment including but not limited to the following: conveyor systems, shakers, graders, case sealers, baggers, check weighers, and various other packaging equipment and machinery by performing the following duties.

Job Description

• Dismantles equipment, machinery, and devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Examines parts to detect imperfections, identify reason for failure, and to take corrective action.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Evaluates equipment for performance, performs adjustments, replaces parts, etc. as needed to assure an uninterrupted processing of quality potato products

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have aptitude for basic math.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
