JOB SUMMARY

Serves as the pipeline control center liaison working with various Departments and Customers to ensure all pipelines are operated in the most effective manner and that delivery to and from customers balance company commitments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Partners with the Commercial/Scheduling Operations personnel to balance supply with delivery commitments to Company and Third-Party pipelines
  
• Communicates with Field personnel, Third Party Pipelines, Producers and facilities to resolve various daily operating issues
  

• Coordinates pipelines volumes with upstream/downstream deliveries ensuring specifications and product quality are maintained throughout pipelines
  
• Participates in all project reviews with Engineering and Commercial to stay informed on new injection and delivery points added to our systems
  
• Works with Logistics organization and Operations during abnormal operating conditions to develop and execute on long term action plans to resolve issues
  
• Ensures Pipeline Control Center operating procedures are created and maintained
  
• Creates Management of Changes items (MOC's)
  

• Assists and engages in alarm rationalizations with Operations and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
  
• Understands hydraulic requirements and compressor/pump operation for all operation scenarios
  
• Understands Federal Control Room Regulations and Control Room Management Plan (CRMP) requirements under this rule
  
• Understands Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulation that may apply to operation and product movement
  
• Reviews daily Safety Related Alarms, Previous day Console Top 10 alarms, Top Weekly alarms, Top Monthly alarms, Previous day Console overview alarms, Console SCADA issues, Inhibited alarms, Manual Operations and will determine with Management the necessary operational changes required to minimize nuisance issues
  

• Must respond to Customer or operational requirements and issues
  
• May be required to assist on issues outside normal working hours
  
• Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  
• A minimum of 2 years of product industry experience
  
• 3 years experience working with DOT192/DOT195 regulations preferred
  
• Must be fully proficient in all of the software programs used by the Department
  
• Have a basic understanding of pipeline operations and product flow processes
  

• Have knowledge of Control Room Management Plan (CRMP) requirements to comply with PHMSA
  
• Understand FERC regulations that may apply to operation and product movement
  
• Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  

SPECIAL DEMANDS

• This role primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. The noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
  
• Varying degrees of work will be completed inside Gas Plant/Field asset conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times. Regularly stoops, squats, kneels, and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the Gas Plant. Occasionally exerts a pulling force of 130 pounds. Frequently may lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may climb A-frame ladders.
  
• Occasional travel will be required
  

SALARY

The salary is $76,700-$122,700.
