Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

  • Daily monitoring and control of gas plant operations
  • Collecting and testing of sour gas (H2S), water, and chemical samples
  • Preparing equipment for maintenance and surveillance of operating equipment
  • Making adjustments to plant operations to ensure efficient and consistent product demand
  • Performing routine and light- duty maintenance on equipment
  • Initiating work orders and permitting for work related to assigned area
  • Following all safety and company policies, programs and procedures
  • Performing various preventive inspections of process and safety equipment


Skills / Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Read technical procedures and materials in English
  • Working knowledge of gas processing and operations
  • Basic understanding of process controls
  • Must possess willingness and ability to perform/comply with the following:
  • Work rotating day/night shifts 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
  • Work overtime as needed and rotating on call schedule
  • Walking/standing during most of the shift
  • Climb stairs and ladders up to 200 feet in height
  • Lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Preferred:

  • Associates degree or Technical certification in Process Technology from an accredited school
  • Proficient with E-Mail, Excel, Word, and SAP
  • 3+ years or more experience in H2S process operations
  • Working knowledge of specific gas processing (CLAUS sulfur recovery unit, SCOT tail gas and Selexol absorption processes)
  • Control Room operations using DCS/PLC systems
