Position Overview

Reporting to the Global Procurement Data & Analytics Lead, the Procurement Data and Insights Analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing enhancements to global Procurement analytical reports and help to enable the organization to achieve their targets. The role is part the Global Procurement Transformation team that implements tools, processes, and procedures in order to drive procurement best practices, streamline operations, and provide the organization with comprehensive spend, supplier, and market intelligence. Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-quality, value-add Procurement reports and dashboards in Power BI including the management of incidents, business rules, change requests, and root cause analysis.
• Track, assess, and communicate key insights regarding issues and enhancements, and support implementation of required best practices to improve report and dashboard quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Material MDM and Vendor MDM to improve data quality (e.g.; merged material records across source systems).
• Monitor and track data quality; establish KPIs for transactions in scope; communicate results in support of increasing user confidence and adoption.
• As part of an effort to improve material group classifications on spend transactions, work with regional SMEs to review PO line item material groups and work with IT to update machine learning training data.
• Measure volume of transactions requiring reclassified spend and communicate to regions to improve material master records.
• Continue to enhance Vendor Master and drive continuous improvement of Vendor Classifications.
• Support management of new Spend Intel SharePoint site including but not limited to tracking and updating monthly KPIs (savings opportunities, maverick spend, non-compliant spend, cash flow improvements, etc...).
• Monitor and communicate incremental cost savings for ROI of PSI solution.
• Develop relationships effectively with stakeholders to become a trusted business partner.
• Support or lead training exercises as needed with global customers.

Requirements

• Experience with advanced application of data analytics techniques and tools in a complex business environment, including the application of general statistical concepts against large volumes of data.
• Hands-on experience utilizing and/or implementing data analytics systems.
• Strong project management experience and ability to operate in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Ability to balance competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (in writing and verbally) and able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in procurement, data mining, statistical analysis, and/or forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Sound business acumen with ability to provide perspective on how to best present data to meet business requirements.
• Strong data analytics skills.
• Ability to influence others and drive results in highly matrix environment.
• Adept with Microsoft suite of applications.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and manage projects to efficiently and effectively deliver results.

Additional Skills/ Knowledge:

• Strong background using PowerBI for data visualization, analytics, and dashboards.

Location Profile
